What does the Recruitment process for Delta Sigma Pi involve?
Our Recruitment process consists of multiple events.
They include our: Meet the Chapter, Community Service, Professional Activity, Social, Speed Networking and Professional Interview Events.
Events are not mandatory, however, serve as a great opportunity to meet the Brothers of the Chapter, in turn they are able to meet and get to know all about you!
What are the events like?
Meet the Chapter is a night for prospects to talk to alumni and current members. Professional Activity is a Wednesday's night event, where we bring in businesses and other helpful people. It provides you with helpful items and networking. Speed Networking is an event, where you interview with the current members. You will be notified by Thursday's night if you will move onto the Pinning Ceremony.
What if I do not own any professional attire?
If you do not own any professional attire, DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED FROM ATTENDING!
Delta Sigma Pi was founded on the principles of help and service, and we would be doing our Founding Fathers an injustice by refusing you for that reason.
If this is the case, come to our first meeting and let us know.
We will do our best to make suitable accommodations!
How many people are normally selected to join Delta Sigma Pi each semester?
There is no typical size for a pledge class in Delta Sigma Pi. We select our members based on the quality of their characteristics.
Can I be in a social fraternity or sorority?
Yes. Several of our members are in social fraternities and sororities and find them both manageable.
Can I be in another business fraternity?
No. It is against our bylaws to accept someone as a member of our fraternity who is a member of another business fraternity.
